SeIf-ReguIation

SeIf-Regulation is a class that teaches participants (ages 13+) to explore ways to manage energy levels and stress using sensory based solutions to build skills.

Everyone has problems managing their behavior, whether it’s getting stressed out easily, getting going in the morning, or concentrating at work or school.  No matter what challenges participants may experience in seIf-reguIation, this course is designed to help.  Our instructors will work with our participants to discover their own needs and give them the tools and confidence to manage them.

Ages: 13 +

Staffing: 3 : 1

Focus: Sensory Skills

Criteria: Participants of all abilities / Open to the public

Goals: 1. Use sensory based solutions to adjust energy levels

           2. Increase ability to manage behavior

           3. Recognize own needs and address accordingly

Duration: 8 weeks

Rate: $140 / Monthly installments

         $280 / Full 2 month Summer session

How to register:

Click here to register for classes and to access the new AutismUp Dashboard. If you are enrolling in classes or are using our new registration system, CampSite, for the first time you will be required to create a new family account before enrolling in any classes/programs. 

Notes:

  • You will receive confirmation that your registration request was received.  Your registration will then be placed in queue while we process your registration.
  • You will then receive an update email with the results of your registration request. Your request will either be "enrolled, wait listed, or denied with an explanation".
  • A representative of AutismUp will contact you if there are any issues with your registration. 
  • To apply for a scholarship, please complete a Scholarship Request Form and send the first two pages of your most recent tax return to:  AutismUp, Attention: Program Office.
  • Installment billing is available to all families. Contact finance@autismup.org for more info.
  • Gift cards are available for purchase and redeemable towards the cost of any class, program, workshop, or special event.
