Vision in Motion

Vision in Motion is a class designed for participants (ages 3+) to utilize different visual exercises in the attempt to increase muscle strength, visual motor skills, and spatial and peripheral awareness.

Vision in Motion will focus on exploring and developing eye strength through various exercises and play.  This program will encompass visual motor development, awareness of personal and social space, three-dimensional space, and increased peripheral awareness.  Each participant will be assigned to a support coach that will work directly with the class facilitator. The goals of this program are to help individuals improve navigation of home, school, and the community. 

Ages: 3 +

Staffing: 1 : 1

Focus: Sensory

Criteria: Participants of all abilities / Open to the public

Goals: 1. Work on increasing eye strength and visual perception

           2. Improve ability to navigate in varied settings

           3. Increase peripheral awareness

Duration: 8 Weeks

Rate: $ 140 / Monthly installments

         $ 280 / Full 2 month Summer session

How to register:

Click here to register for classes and to access the new AutismUp Dashboard. If you are enrolling in classes or are using our new registration system, CampSite, for the first time you will be required to create a new family account before enrolling in any classes/programs. 

Notes:

  • You will receive confirmation that your registration request was received.  Your registration will then be placed in queue while we process your registration.
  • You will then receive an update email with the results of your registration request. Your request will either be "enrolled, wait listed, or denied with an explanation".
  • A representative of AutismUp will contact you if there are any issues with your registration. 
  • To apply for a scholarship, please complete a Scholarship Request Form and send the first two pages of your most recent tax return to:  AutismUp, Attention: Program Office.
  • Installment billing is available to all families. Contact finance@autismup.org for more info.
  • Gift cards are available for purchase and redeemable towards the cost of any class, program, workshop, or special event.
