Dr. Susan Hyman

Emeritus Board Member

Dr. Hyman formerly served as Division Chief of Pediatrics at the Golisano Children’s Hospital, The Kirch Development Center before her retirement in 2023. She has served as an original member of the Board of AutismUp since it's inception in 2004, and retired from the active board in 2023. She has also served on several boards and committees, including: American Academy of Pediatrics – Chair of Autism Subcommittee to the Committee on Children with Disabilities; Scientific Advisory Board Member, Kelberman Center; Committee Member, Local Early Intervention Coordinating Committee; Program Committee – International Meeting for Autism Research. Dr. Hyman also belongs to the following professional organizations: American Academy of Pediatrics; Committee on Children with Disabilities, Section on Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, Section on Complementary, Holistic and Integrative Medicine; American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine; American Academy of Intellectual impairment and Developmental Disabilities and Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
