AutismUp has partnered with Al Sigl Community of Agencies and CP Rochester to build the Golisano Autism Center to coordinate and expand access to autism services for people diagnosed with autism in the Greater Rochester and surrounding areas. The center officially opened on September 12, 2019 and AutismUp relocated its programming, services, and staff to the new location. The 30,500 square-foot project was made possible by an initial $2.5 million challenge gift from businessman-philanthropist Tom Golisano and a $500,000 grant by the Golisano Foundation towards a $9 million capital campaign.

AutismUp is not only a tenant of the Golisano Autism Center, we are also a founding member with our partner agencies, CP Rochester and Al Sigl Community of Agencies. As a founding member, we were able to give a family's perspective and insight as to what is needed in a space that is dedicated to providing an inviting environment to families living with autism. We are still AutismUp and haven't changed what we do or our mission to support families — we are just getting bigger in a new location!
