ScoopUp Creamery is more than just an ice cream truck — it’s a vibrant Learning Lab on wheels, powered by AutismUp. Created to provide meaningful, real-world job experience for young adults with autism, ScoopUp Creamery blends the joy of a sweet treat with the impact of hands-on learning. With every event we attend, our interns from Full Life Academy build skills in customer service, hospitality, and teamwork in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Our mission is to empower individuals with autism by providing real-world job experiences through skill-based “Learning Labs,” enabling independence, confidence, and sustainable personal growth.
We envision a growing network of these COLLABS (Community Organized Learning LABS) — like ScoopUp and our café, PercUp Provisions, located within the Golisano Autism Center, where students can apply what they’ve learned in practical settings and build pathways toward more independent futures.
