Time
- represent AutismUp at local community events
- promote AutismUp in community - flyers, solicit auction/raffle donations, events/fundraisers
- volunteer for direct programs
- volunteer for special events
- join a committee (i.e., fundraising, special event, program, advocacy)
- become a bike camp spotter; recruit bike camp spotters (recruiting each spring)
- office clerical support - copies, mailings, acknowledgments)
- multi sensory learning environment upkeep/assistance - sanitize equipment, windows, floors, painting
- make outbound phone calls to AutismUp members and donors
- school district liaison (ambassador) - promote AU in schools, with PTA, PTSA, administration
- student ambassador - help to raise awareness about ASD amongst peers & within school environment, promote opportunities for inclusion, coordinate fundraisers and volunteer groups
- speak with local media on behalf of AutismUp and share AutismUp and/or personal autism experience
- mentor and/or welcome a new parent/family/child to AutismUp
- volunteer to supervise open gym times
