ROC Art Explore is an engaging and immersive art class designed to connect students with Rochester's vibrant art scene. This class provides a unique blend of inspiration and creativity by combining hands-on exploration with the opportunity to interact directly with local artists. Participants will embark on visits to notable art venues such as the Flower City Arts Center, Image City Photography Gallery, RIT City Arts Center, and the Memorial Art Gallery. These excursions are intended to spark creativity and provide a deeper understanding of the diverse art forms and artistic processes within the community. In addition to participating in these enriching community visits, students will channel the inspiration they gather into their own artistic creations. Through guided sessions in the classroom, they will experiment with various art mediums and techniques, translating their experiences into personal works of art.
