This instructor-led class is designed to help participants develop the cognitive, communication, and interpersonal skills needed to navigate school, work, community, and social environments successfully. Through structured lessons, interactive activities, role-playing exercises, group discussions, and real-world practice, participants will be taught both executive functioning abilities and social competencies in a supportive and engaging setting. Class topics may include conversation skills, active listening, perspective-taking, conflict resolution, self-advocacy, teamwork, recognizing social cues, managing emotions, adapting to change, and making informed decisions. Lessons are intentionally scaffolded to support ongoing skill development and continued learning from term to term. Each session builds upon previously learned concepts while introducing new strategies, activities, and executive functioning skills at an appropriate pace.
