This instructor-led interactive class uses gameplay as a tool to teach and strengthen a variety of practical and social skills in a fun, engaging environment. Participants will learn how to navigate the Minecraft world while developing critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and planning skills. Throughout the class, participants will learn specific gameplay techniques such as resource gathering, crafting tools and equipment, building structures, farming, exploration, and survival strategies. They will also practice setting goals, following multi-step directions, managing resources, and adapting to unexpected challenges within the game.
