Pre-Vocational Program

LinkUp is an innovative job skills class that pairs career consulting and employment training with hands-on volunteer work.

LinkUp is an innovative job skills class that pairs career vocational training with hands-on supported volunteer work. LinkUp is best suited for participants 18+ who can volunteer independently at times, are interested in exploring different types of job opportunities, and can benefit from improving their transferable job skills. Participants can expect to receive a outstanding resources from our career consultant and also have the opportunity to make new friends through this unique experience.

LinkUp Learning Lab: Every other Wednesday

The LinkUp Learning Lab our participants can expect to work with our career consultants to increase employability skills. Here participants will learn teamwork, workplace culture, communication, time management, critical conversations, conflict resolution, self motivation, goal setting, resume prep and much more!

LinkUp Supported Volunteering: Thursdays

Every week participants will meet at their job site for hands-on supported volunteering. Participants can expect to put to practice skills and strategies learned during their lab sessions. Each week participants will be challenged with different goals and be encouraged to track individualized career milestones.

Ages: 18+

Supervision: 6 : 1

Focus: Readiness Skills

Criteria: Participants of all abilities / Open to the public
