The Parent Effectiveness Program was developed by Dr. Laurence Sugarman to help parents build practical skills for communicating and interacting more effectively with their children on the autism spectrum. Over four weekly sessions, participants will learn clinical techniques and behavioral strategies that can be applied to everyday situations at home.
The program also provides an opportunity to learn alongside other parents, share experiences, and receive guidance for navigating the unique challenges of parenting a child with autism.
Program Goals: Learn practical communication and behavioral strategies, apply clinical techniques to everyday home interactions, and gain support and guidance from a community of fellow parents.
