The Lip Sync Challenge

Take the Lip Sync Challenge and Support AutismUp

As title sponsor of the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival, Xerox has always made it a priority to have some fun while supporting a worthy cause in the community. And we’re so excited that they’ve decided to bring back the Lip Sync Challenge! Last year, the campaign raised awareness and nearly $5,000 for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Please help them surpass this year’s goal of $7,500 by participating at home or joining Xerox and AutismUp at the festival in the merchandise tent on Jazz Street (Gibbs St.) to record your video and get in on the action.

Of course, you don’t have to lip sync to support AutismUp. Click here to make a donation now.

How do you take the Lip Sync Challenge? In four easy steps.

  1. LipSyncSongListRecord your lip sync performance.
    Choose from these songs.
Don’t know the words? No problem! We have the lyrics onscreen in the merchandise tent and will do all the recording for you.
  2. View your video and share online.
We’ll post all the videos we record at the festival to the AutismUp YouTube page. Simply visit the web page, watch your video and share on Facebook, Twitter, etc. Be sure to use #Jazz4AutismUp and #XRIJF.
  3. Start a lip sync battle.
Have friends or family members with a talent for the art (or a complete lack thereof)? Nominate them to create their own video to see how it stacks up to yours. And of course donate to AutismUp.
  4. Make a donation.
Every little bit helps to support individuals with ASD and their families.

If you’re not planning to attend the festival, you can still participate by creating your video at home. Just be sure use one of the songs from our list and post your video to YouTube.

On behalf of everyone at Xerox and AutismUp, thank you for your interest in the Lip Sync Challenge.
