AutismUp Hosts First Halloween at Golisano Autism Center
The new Golisano Autism Center in Rochester was the site of AutismUp's "Trunk Or Treat" event ahead of Halloween.
The event gave kids living with autism the opportunity to go Trick-or-Treating in the parking lot and play sensory-friendly games.
Parent Quinn Brady was appreciative: "Being in a community where they understand the tantrums that other parents may not be used to, that are unique to our children - it's just a nice facility... a safe space where we can do what regular kids do."
