Healthy Relationships

This course introduces key concepts related to relationships in social and community contexts. Participants engage in group discussion and guided examples to examine communication patterns, boundaries, and how relationships are shaped by media, culture, and social environments. Topics may include social media, dating representations, and identity in public discourse. The course emphasizes understanding relationship concepts in a group learning setting and is time-limited by semester.

Criteria: Participants of all abilities, open to the public

Goals: Educate on Personal Hygiene and Self-Care, Increase Knowledge of Sexuality and Sexual Health, Discuss Boundaries and Consent, Foster Safe and Inclusive Environments, Encourage Healthy Communication Skills, Address and Prevent Relationship Abuse & Empower Personal Decision making

Outcomes: Participants will have a clear understanding of what defines a healthy relationship and the characteristics of respectful interactions.
